ABBAS MAHAMAT TOLLI THE NEW GOVERNOR OF BEAC SWORN INTO OFFICE

Mr. ABBAS MAHAMAT TOLLI, new governor of BEAC and a national of Chad, and the other members of he government of the Bank were sworn into office by the current chairman of the ministerial committee of UMAC, honourable Calixte NGANONGO, Congolese Minister of Finance, budget and public portfolio on March 31, 2017 in Yaounde, headquarters of the Bank.

The World Bank co-funds new projects on education territorial development

On December 7 2016 in Brazzaville, Congo and the World Bank signed two funding agreements for the Brazzaville and Pointe Noire Urban Development and Restructuring Project and the Education Support Project. The documents were signed by Congolese Minister of Finance, Budget and Public Portfolio, Calixte Nganongo and the World Bank's Director of Operations for the Republic of the Congo, Ahmadou Moustapha Ndiaye.
