The conference was held on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 in Brazzaville by the Minister of Finance and Budget, honourable Calixte Nganongo. Congolese executives and three experts from the Rwandan Ministry of Finance and Planning also attended the conference.The experts made presentations on many themes.

The Minister of Finance and Budget, Calixte Nganongo, visited the autonomous  payroll counting center of the Army and the  Gendarmerie on Saturday, February 24, 2018  in Brazzaville (Republic of the Congo),  along with  his fellow in charge of national defense, Brigadier General, Charles Richard Mondjo.

On Monday, February 12, 2018, the government  of Congo and the World Bank signed a financing agreement , through the Japanese Fund for social development  for the implementation of the support project for sustainable means of support in the department of Pool.

On Thursday, January 11, 2018 in Brazzaville, Prime Minister Clement Mouamba, head of government of the Republic of the Congo and the Minister of Finance and Budget, honourable Calixte Nganongo, visited the  general directorate of Tax  and land and  the general directorate of customs and indirect tax, so as to enable them know the main problems these two departments and to find ways of improving their performance.

On Saturday January 6, 2018, the Minister of Finance and Budget, honourable Calixte Nganongo submitted  the finance  Act bill  for 2018, before the 151 members of parliament meeting for their first extraordinary budgetary session of the fourteenth legislature at Palais des Congres.

The Piloting Committee for the reform program of the information system met for its fourth and last session of the year on Thursday, December 28, 2017 in the meeting room of the Ministry of Finance and Budget in Brazzaville. The proceedings were chaired by honourable Calixte Nganongo, its current chairman.

The National Monetary and Financial Committee of the Congo (NMFC) and the National Credit Council (NCC) successively met on December 6, 2017 in Brazzaville (Congo),  the national administrative headquarters of the Central African States Bank (CASB) under the chairmanship of the Congolese minister of finance and budget, the monetary watchdog, honourable Calixte Nganongo; in the presence of the Governor of the Bank, Abbas Mahamat Tolli and the national director of this sub-regional financial body, Michel Dzombala.

On Tuesday, December 5, 2017,  the head of the delegation of the International Monetary Fund, Abdul Wane Aziz, declared that« As from today, Congo enters into negotiation with this Bretton Woods financial institution» so that an  agreement was reached for the return to macroeconomic equilibrium and the promotion of growth in the country.

Talks for the signing of an agreement between the Congolese government and the Internatio-nal Monetary Fund (IMF) began on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 in Brazzaville. The Congo-lese side is led by both the Minister of finance and budget, Calixte Nganongo and the Chairman of the Negotiations  Technical Committee, Lucien Ebata, Special Advisor to the Head of State for external financing. The IMF delegation is led by Abdul Wane Aziz.

The Chinese company Zheng Wei is specialized in civil work and was led by its general manager at the meeting with the Minister of Finance and Budget, Calixte Nganongo, on Saturday, September 23, 2017.
