On Thursday 10 February 2022 at the Brazzaville Chamber of Commerce, the Minister Delegate for the Budget, Ludovic Ngatsé, met with the heads of tax structures of the Brazzaville Department. The purpose of this first meeting at the beginning of the year was to appeal to and encourage the Minister to reach the fiscal forecasts for the current year.

On Thursday, February 10, 2022 in Brazzaville, Jean-Pierre Nonault, Director General of National Financial Institutions (DGIFN), was in front of the General Managers of Insurance companies operating in Congo. This meeting was marked by the presence of Serge William Landry Massembo Doumou, General Manager of the Insurance and Reinsurance Company of Congo (ARC) and President of the Professional Association of Insurance Companies in Congo (APSACO).

On Tuesday 8 February 2022 in Brazzaville, the National Committee of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (CN-ITIE) - Congo, led by Florent Michel Okoko, Permanent Secretary of the Executive Committee of this National Committee, organised a workshop to raise awareness of the Real Property (RP) among public administrations and reporting extractive forestry companies on real property. The work benefited from the partnership with the Public Sector Integrated Reforms Project (PRISP), represented by the Head of Components, André Kéhoua.

On Thursday 3 February 2022 in Brazzaville, Jean-Pierre Nonault, Acting Director General of National Financial Institutions (DGIFN), received the heads of microfinance institutions in Congo. In the presence of Dieudonné Ndinga-Moukala, General Manager of the Federation of Congolese Mutual Savings and Credit Associations (MUCODEC), and President of the Professional Association of Microfinance Institutions (APEMF).

Lambert Ifoko, Tax and Customs Adviser to Rigobert Roger Andely, Minister of Finance, Budget and Public Portfolio, chaired the meeting of the project team in charge of finalizing the implementation of the Dematerialized Tax Stamp (DST) on Friday 28 January 2022 in Brazzaville.

Jean-Pierre Nonault, Director General of National Financial Institutions (DGIFN), under the supervision of the Ministry of Finance, Budget and Public Portfolio, had a contact session on Thursday 20 January 2022 in Brazzaville, with the Directors General of private banks established in Congo. 

Rigobert Roger Andely, Minister of Finance, Budget and Public Portfolio, sponsored the Public Expenditure and Financial Accountability (PEFA) method appropriation seminar in Brazzaville on Tuesday 11 January 2022. He was accompanied by his colleague Ludovic Ngatsé, Delegate in charge of the Budget, and Korotoumou Ouattara, World Bank Representative in Congo.

On Tuesday 11 January 2022 in Brazzaville, Ludovic Itoua, Director General of Taxation and States Properties (DGID), opened the workshop on the presentation of the Matrix for implementing the recommendations of Tax Administration Assessment Diagnostic Tool (TADAT) in the presence of Clovin Boziré Ontsouon-Assen, Monitoring and Assessment Officer of the Public Sector Integrated Reforms Project (PRISP).

Florent Michel Okoko, Permanent Secretary of the EITI-Congo National Executive Committee, held a press conference on Monday 10 January 2022 in Brazzaville. His presentation focused on the validation and publication of the 2019 Report by the Committee.

On Saturday 18 and Monday 20 December 2021 in Brazzaville, the two House of the Congolese Parliament successively adopted unanimously (with amendment, for the lower House, and without amendment, for the upper House) the State finance bill for 2022 fiscal year, at the amount of 1935 billion 253 million in revenue and 1, 734 billion 964 million CFA francs in expenditure. The session was presided over by Isidore Mvouba, Speaker of the National Assembly, and Pierre Ngolo, President of the Senate, respectively. Rigobert Roger Andely, Minister of Finance, Budget and Public Portfolio, and Ludovic Ngatsé, Minister Delegate for the Budget, were also present.
