After five days of training provided by experienced national and expatriate experts, the managerial executives of the Ministry of Economy and Finance were called by their Head of Department, Jean-Baptiste Ondaye, to “become vectors of economic performance and financial situation by 2026. While four recommendations were made to them by the Expert Trainers.

On the occasion of the opening of the training workshop on the reform of public finance governance, which is being held at the Kintélé International Conference Center (CIC), north of Brazzaville, from Monday June 12 to Friday June 16 2023, the Minister of Economy and Finance, Jean-Baptiste Ondaye, expressed the wish to set up “a Center for developing executive skills”, to meet the ongoing requirements of results-based management ( GAR).

Jean-Baptiste Ondaye, Minister of Economy and Finance, officially launched on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at the headquarters of the said Ministry, the work for the realization of three economic studies. Jean-Baptiste Ondaye, Minister of Economy and Finance, presided over a working session on Saturday, December 3, 2022 in Brazzaville, with the Directors General of tax and financial Directorates , namely, the Tax and State Property; Customs and Indirect Rights; the Public Treasury; and the Congolese Sinking Fund.

On Saturday, November 26, 2022, that is to say two months to the day, after taking office on Tuesday, September 27, the Minister of Economy and Finance, Jean-Baptiste Ondaye, made a communication to the executives of the structures and institutions under his supervision. The ceremony took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Congolese Abroad, in Brazzaville. 

On Thursday, November 11, 2022 in the meeting room of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, in Brazzaville, was held the 2^nd session, for the current year, of the National Investment Commission (CNI). The Director of Cabinet, Athanase Ngassakys, opened the session on behalf of Jean-Baptiste Ondaye, the Responsible Minister and President of the Commission.

On Wednesday 3 November 2022 in Brazzaville, the Congolese Minister of Economy and Finance, Jean-Baptiste Ondaye, Chairman of the Coordination Committee on National Policies against Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction, opened the inaugural session of the said Committee.

From Monday 10 to Wednesday 19 October 2022, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB) are holding their Annual General Meetings in Washington, the federal capital of the United States. The Republic of Congo is represented by the Minister of Economy and Finance, Jean-Baptiste ONDAYE. 

The Congolese Minister of Economy and Finance, Jean-Baptiste ONDAYE, and his colleague in charge of the Budget, Public Accounts and Public Portfolio, Ludovic NGATSE, both participated this Thursday, October 6, 2022, in the interministerial meeting of the UMAC (Monetary Union of Central Africa), organized at the headquarters of the Bank of Central African States (BEAC) in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
